One of the greatest pleasures that I experience as a business leader is to see my team grow and achieve success. Over the years, we have introduced many different incentives and types of programs to build relationships between the members of our sales and client services teams. One of the most successful and therefore annually recurring events is the President’s Club trip.
Each year, a sales goal is set for our direct reps and subagents to achieve. Once the goal is met, we send the sales rep and their guest on an all-expensive paid cruise. It is pleasing to watch each year as monthly progress is made and trips are won.
Another element that was added and one that is fairly unique to the industry, was the addition of client services team member eligibility for the trip. We all know that the back-office teams are the unsung heroes who initiate quotes, keep orders moving and trouble shoot for our end-user clients. By including them in the annual contest, we acknowledge their efforts and reward a successful symbiotic relationship between two essential groups responsible for the company’s success.
The winners of the 2018 President’s Club will be headed to the Bahamas in June 2019. We have already had two sales winners to date - Jim Brooker and Pete Kraehmer – and we look forward to many more as we approach the end on 2018.
