On September 25, 2017, Richmond BizSense released its annual “RVA Rising 25” list. Comtel Managed Solutions, d.b.a. Simplicity VoIP was named as Richmond’s 11th fastest growing company. Out of a competitive field with more than 70 applicants, the recognition and list placement was based on Simplicity’s average revenue growth from 2014 - 2016.

Founded in 2012, in response to a gap in the hosted VoIP and cloud communications market, Simplicity VoIP’s goal is make the transition to VoIP easy for small- to medium-sized businesses as well as enterprises. While supplying a business communications solution that offers advanced functionality, the company takes away the inherent challenges and complexity when deploying it.

Richmond Bizsense brought Simplicity VoIP and the other 24 companies named on the list together at their “RVA 25” event on October 11th at Dover Hall. The invitation-only evening honored the rising 25’s like-minded owners and teams and encouraged the sharing of their growth stories.
